Every year  in September there is  the international film festival also known as the "Mostra del Cinema". During this period the Lido di Venezia become the centre of attention.
Every day there are newspaper articles, advertisements, provocations, gossip, rumors about which stars have arrived.

A lot of cinema lovers and ardent fans meet outside Palazzo del Cinema during the day or in the night in the hope of getting an autograph or taking a photo of their idol.
